Michaela Petito was exceptional this week both inside the circle and at the plate. In the circle, Petito was a perfect 3-0 allowing just four runs (two earned) while striking out 23 batters including a season-high 10 in a victory over Iowa Wesleyan to help lead the Macs to a perfect 8-0 week in Myrtle Beach. At the plate, Petito registered 13 hits in 24 at bats (.541) with six doubles, seven runs scored, and six RBI including an impressive 4-for-4, two run and three RBI effort in the Macs victory over Penn College earlier to begin the Macs stay in South Carolina.
