Steve Long was impressive on Thursday evening at Albright as the junior scored seven goals to lead Immaculata to its victory of the season in comeback fashion by a final of 13-10. Midway through the first quarter of play, Long scored four straight goals for the Mighty Macs (four of five goals in a three-minute span to erase an early deficit and give Immaculata its first lead of the contest late in the first period of play. Long’s seven-goal effort sets a new career-high in both goals and points for the junior midfielder surpassing his previous career-highs of five goals and six points, respectively, which he set a season ago.
