Jordan Ambrose had a week for the record books last week as the senior became the sixth and newest member of the Immaculata men’s basketball 1,000-point club. Ambrose earned a spot on this elusive list just before the end of the first half in a setback to Rosemont as the senior drilled a pair of free throws en route to a 23-point performance to lead the Macs on Thursday. On Tuesday evening vs Bryn Athyn, Amborse teamed with junior guard Brandon McCullough to lead the Macs to the victory thanks in large part to a season-high 27 point performance. On Saturday afternoon vs Moravian, Ambrose had another strong performance registering 11 points in the setback to continue his climb up the 1,000-point leaderboard as he inches closer to Mike Piekarski who currently resides in fifth place in team history.
