John Batley had a strong return to the pool on Saturday afternoon as the junior registered a victory in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 59.68 seconds before finishing second in the 200-yard backstroke in 2:10.17 in what was a strong individual afternoon for the junior captain. Batley was also a member of a pair of relay teams (200 medley and 400 free) that recorded fifth place finishes in what was a strong afternoon for the Mighty Macs.
