Paula Barrett from the Immaculata women's cross country team earned the first Mighty Mac of the Week Award of the 2017 fall season on September 5.

Barrett was the top-finisher for the Mighty Macs at the CSAC Preview Meet with a third-place finish in a time of 29:49. As a team, Immaculata won the Preview Meet as it had five runners in the field's Top 10. It is the first time in Barrett's career that she has been the top runner for the Mighty Macs, and her best collegiate finish.
