IU field hockey goalkeeper Sarah Pasternak was honored as the Mighty Mac of the Week on September 6.

Pasternak was outstanding in the cage for the Mighty Macs in their opening week as she did not allow a goal in two shutout victories. She made 18 saves overall in picking up the pair of shutouts. Against Wesley, Pasternak made 11 saves as the Macs won 1-0, and she followed that up with seven more saves against Widener in a 2-0 win.
