Senior Mamadou Diakite tallied the ninth double-double of his career with 22 points and 13 rebounds in a losing effort to #25 Franklin & Marshall in the opening game of a holiday tournament hosted by the Diplomats. Against Lynchburg in a 62-58 victory in the consolation game, Diakite had 7 points and 6 rebounds. For the tournament, he averaged 14.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game, while shooting 50% (10-for-20) from the field. For his efforts, Diakite was named to the All-Tournament Team.
