Women's basketball senior forward Brittany Merkle was named Mighty Mac of the Week for December 22nd.

Merkle played a big part in the team's 69-55 victory over visiting Urisinus on Wednesday, December 17th with 19 points and 10 rebounds to give her the eighth double-double of her career.  She scored 13 of her points in the first half, which helped the Mighty Macs race out to a 35-17 halftime advantage that they never relinquished.  Merkle shot 9-of-11 from the field.
