Alex Felderstein from the men's outdoor track and field team was honored as the Mighty Mac of the Week on April 28 following his performance at the WCU Open.

Felderstein, competing in the shot put, set both a personal best and a school best with his toss of 43 feet, 3.25 inches. Felderstein won the shot put at the WCU Open, his first win in the event in his career as he bested the second-place finisher at 42-2.75.
