Women's basketball sophomore guard Sara Smith was honored as the Mighty Mac of the Week on Monday, Feb. 4 following her selection to the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Weekly Honor Roll.
Smith posted averages of 16.5 points and 9.5 rebounds for the Mighty Macs during their 1-1 week. In Wednesday's loss to Gwynedd-mercy, the Glenolden, Pa., native scored 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds, while adding two assists. On Saturday, in a 65-48 win against Baptist Bible, Smith poured in 17 points, 10 rebounds and three assists. It marked the first double-double that she has recorded in a CSAC contest.
