Nelson Torres was honored as the Mighty Mac of the Week on Monday, December 10, following a 3-0 week for Immaculata. Torres was also named as the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) men's basketball player of the week for his performance.

Torres led the team in scoring in two of its three games last week as the Mighty Macs had a three-game CSAC winning streak to start the year. He averaged 18.7 points and 6.0 rebounds across those three outings.

He posted 18 points, nine rebounds and five assists in a 64-60 win over Rosemont on Monday. Torres then tallied 22 points in a 66-60 win at Cabrini on Wednesday that snapped the Cavaliers 44-game home winning streak. Torres was the offensive catalyst in helping the Mighty Macs erase an 11-point deficit over the final nine minutes of the game. Torres capped the week with 16 points and five rebounds in the team's 76-59 victory over Cairn.
