READING, Pa.- The Immaculata women's tennis team (4-2, 3-0 CSAC) won their third consecutive match with a come-from-behind 5-4 victory over Penn State-Berks in non-conference action. After losing two out of three doubles matches, Immaculata came back and won four of the singles matches for the team win.
Freshman
Annaliese Kambouroglos and junior
Pattie McGinley picked up the lone doubles victory in the third position with a narrow 8-6 triumph after the Mighty Macs lost the first and second doubles by the same score.
In singles, freshman
Lauren Degnan won again in the first spot with a hard-earned 6-3, 7-5 win.
In the fourth position, Kambouroglos remained unbeaten in her singles career with an easy 6-0, 6-2 triumph.
Junior
Theresa Martini won 6-2, 6-1 and freshman
Jenna Fratterelli won 6-3, 6-0 in the fifth and sixth positions, respectively.
Immaculata jumps back into CSAC action with a road match at Gwynedd Mercy on Friday afternoon.
