BALTIMORE, Md.-The Immaculata women's tennis team topped Notre Dame (0-2, 0-2 CSAC) by a score of 8-1 on Friday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action. The Mighty Macs (2-2, 2-0 CSAC) claimed their second consecutive CSAC match to open the conference season.
Immaculata won two of three doubles matches and swept all six singles. Sophomore

Julie Einwechter each won both of their matches.

Theresa Martini teamed up for the second doubles match where they won 8-2, while Einwechter and junior
Pattie McGinley dominated 8-0 in the third doubles slot.
In singles, the Mighty Macs won every set to take the match. Freshman
Lauren Degnan got her first career singles win with a 6-1, 6-4 triumph in the number one position. Freshman
Nicole Burley claimed victory in the second singles spot 6-3, 6-3.
Trowbridge won in the third spot 6-2, 6-1, and freshman
Annaliese Kambouroglos moved to a perfect 3-0 in singles in her young career with a 6-0, 6-0 straight sets triumph.
Einwechter (6-2, 6-2) and freshman
Jenna Fratterelli (6-0, 6-2) won in the fifth and sixth positions, respectively.
The Mighty Macs will look for their third consecutive CSAC win when they host Cairn tomorrow at 1 p.m.
