Notre Dame Slips Past IU Women's Tennis

IMMACULATA, Pa. - The College of Notre Dame slipped past the Immaculata women's tennis team, 5-4, on Tuesday afternoon.

Immaculata falls to 0-5 overall, 0-2 CSAC while Notre Dame got a win in its first match of the season to improve to 1-0, 1-0 CSAC.

The Mighty Macs' four points came from No. 1, 5 and 6 singles and third doubles. Margaret Kelley defeated the Gators' Miku White, 8-3, at top singles. Kristen East downed Amanda Hollister 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5 singles. The Mighty Macs picked up No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles by default.

Immaculata takes to the road on Thursday, Sept. 18, for a non-league match at Albright at 3:30 p.m.
