Men's Soccer Tops Rowan, 2-1

GLASSBORO, N.J. - Immaculata's men's soccer team topped Rowan, 2-1, on Monday night. It marked the first win of the season for the Mighty Macs, who improve to 1-3-2.

Kieran Keelan, playing in his first game of the season, scored the first goal for Immaculata in the 25th minute on a shot from inside the box. Keelan put pressure on Rowan all night, taking a team-high six shots.

Kevin Glenn scored an insurance goal in the 71st minute for the Mighty Macs on a shot from 40 yards out. 

Rowan (3-3) tried to put together a late comeback as Jay Vigilante converted a penalty kick at 75:20, but that would be all the Profs would get.

Immaculata goalkeeper Zach Oas registered five saves, and Rowan goalie Joel Sanger stopped one shot in 72:24 for the Profs. Mike Boisselle played the final 17:36 without recording a stop.

Immaculata continues its road trip at PSU Berks on Thursday, Sept. 17, at 4 p.m.
