ASTON, Pa.- The Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) released their end of year baseball awards on Wednesday afternoon and seven Mighty Macs earned recognition from the conference for their play this season.

Jason McCormick and sophomore relief pitcher
Kenny Anderson were named First Team All-CSAC, junior third baseman
Rob Wallace, junior shortstop
Ryan Ficca, and senior designated hitter
Matt Lawson were named Second Team All-CSAC, and junior centerfielder
Rick DiDomenico was named Honorable Mention All-CSAC. Senior pitcher
Matt Dolan earned a spot on the CSAC All-Sportsmanship Team.

McCormick capped off a great regular season by being named to the First Team All-CSAC in the utility position. McCormick led the Mighty Macs in hitting this season with a .442 batting average, which placed him second in the CSAC, and he led the nation in on-base percentage at .590. He added a team-high 31 runs scored, tied for the team lead in hits with 38, led the team in doubles with 11, triples with four, walks with 17, and hit by pitches with 17. He was named CSAC Hitter of the Week once and was named to D3Baseball's Team of the Week after the series against Centenary when he was retired just once in three games. This is McCormick's second consecutive All-CSAC recognition after he was named Honorable Mention All-CSAC a year ago.

Anderson saw his role greatly increase out of the bullpen as he became the team's primary closer this season. He led the team with three saves, had a 1-2 record and a 3.05 ERA in 12 appearances out of the bullpen. He tossed 20 2/3 innings and surrendered just seven earned runs while striking out 15 hitters and walking just four. Two of his three saves came in CSAC play against Centenary and Gwynedd Mercy.

Wallace made it three consecutive years with All-CSAC accolades by making the Second Team All-CSAC this year after Honorable Mention All-CSAC his freshman and sophomore seasons. Wallace was second on the team in hitting, and seventh in the CSAC, with a .391 average after starting and playing in 28 of the team's 31 games. He had 36 hits, 23 runs scored, nine doubles, and 14 RBIs this season. He also became the sixth Mighty Mac in team history to eclipse the 100-hit mark in a win over Centenary.

Ryan Ficca made his first year at Immaculata count as he earned Second Team All-CSAC at the shortstop position. He finished 10
th in the CSAC and third on the team in batting average at .376 and tied for the team lead in hits with 38 after starting 30 games. He had 14 runs scored, nine doubles, 18 RBIs, and tied for the team lead with 14 stolen bases. Defensively, he had the most assists on the team with 79. He was also named CSAC Hitter of the Week after the team's 10-game spring break trip to Florida.

Lawson netted his first all-conference honors on the Second Team All-CSAC in the designated hitter spot. He appeared in 27 games, making 17 starts and hit .321 with 18 hits, 12 runs scored, 11 RBIs, 12 walks, and the second best on-base percentage on the team at .487.

DiDomenico was named Honorable Mention All-CSAC for the second consecutive season in centerfield as he was one of Immaculata's most productive hitters. He tied for the team lead with 21 RBIs and hit .286 on the season. He tied for second on the team in runs scored with 23, hit six doubles, and had 26 hits overall while swiping 13 bases.

Dolan earned a spot on the All-Sportsmanship Team in his final year with the squad.

Centenary's Ryan Caparoni was named Player of the Year, Keystone's Felix Baez was named Pitcher of the Year, Gwynedd Mercy's Jason Mulvey was named Rookie of the Year, and Marywood's Jerry Davis was named Coach of the Year.

The Mighty Macs will get their CSAC playoff run underway tomorrow afternoon when they travel to Marywood for a 3 p.m. first round game.
