GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. – Immaculata University's women's track and field team came in third with 86 points at the CSAC Quad Championship Sunday afternoon on the campus of Gwynedd Mercy University.
Alexandra Okoro won the discus throw with a toss of 122 feet, 11 inches. Okoro also placed fifth in the shot put with a throw of 29-2.50.
Besides winning the discus, Immaculata athletes recorded four Top 3 performances during the event.
Diana Cusick had a second-place finish in the 800-meters with a time of two minutes, 34.33 seconds.
Rachael Gugasian also came in fourth in the 800m with a clocking of 2:47.43
Cusick also came in second in the 1500m with a run of 5:36.66.
Emily Lowe placed second in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:17.18, just two hundredths of a second behind the first-place finisher.
Cayla Rimkis finished fourth in the 3000m with a time of 12:34.60.
Nydezsia Lee took fifth in the 100m with a race of 13.41.
Brittany Holland came in second in the high jump with a leap of 4-6.25, and she was fifth in the javelin at 88-11.
Keystone won the event with 172 points.
